Motmo

Motmo is an acronym for Missing Out on The Moment. It's akin to FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), but it is the result of actions which led someone to miss out on the moment they desired so much to experience.

One example of this is people who go to watch fireworks and then video it all on their phone. Rather than experience the moment, they totally miss out on it. The way it sounded, felt and really was.

I was so excited to hang out with my friends at the party, but I spent all my time there on my phone and now I feel like I totally Motmo'd tonight.
