Mitticide 

An act committed by a major politician when talking in front of a group of donors that paid $50,000.00 in Boca Raton, FL. It is similar to killing your political hopes, like taking a life by homicide or suicide.
By attacking 47% of Americans, Mitt Romney ended his hopes for the Office of the President. The insult provided by the candidate to the voters is now known as "Mitticide".

Mimeticide 

When a group of people people and/or a culture is wiped out, that group's meaning systems are also destroyed and this can be referred to as a "mimeticide." Alternatively, the group of people may continue to live on, but their meaning systems are forbidden by the dominant or conquering culture.
The conquest of the Americas by Europeans was a mimeticide as it wiped out uncountable indigenous groups and their meaning systems.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped.
