Vancouver, Washington

A church inside a former Kmart.

That's the summation of this place based on an actual establishment. I get the sense the hoakey small town center like any old thyme town center has been abandoned to tiny gift shops while the suburbs were built up around it. Life there is a purgatory for grown up suburban kids where they drive from their apartment block to a gas station, to a office block, to Applebees, and back again. They watch Netflix and wait to die, keeling over from a broken heart 2 weeks after retirement realizing what I just said.
"You're 47 years old. It's finally time you get your own apartment."

"Ok mom, I'll move to Vancouver, Washington. Can I borrow the car?"

Adama Maneuver

The act of dropping a Battlestar several times the size of a Nimitz-class carrier into the atmosphere and going into freefall whilst launching fighters. The Battlestar then jumps back out into orbit less than 100 feet from the ground, leaving a flaming silhouette in its place and creating a megaginormous thunderclap. Also known as the Husker Hailmary, the Maneuver was patented by Admiral William Adama, one of the greatest TV characters of all time on Battlestar Galactica (best show on television) and was one of the centerpieces of probably the best BSG (best show on television) episodes yet, "Exodus, Part II".
"Dude, the Adama Maneuver is completely infeasible when it comes to physics!"
"STFU n00b! It's BSG (best show on television)! Who cares?"

Michael Jackson Maneuver

The movements that one's body does when trying to dance like the iconic sexy Michael Jackson. Exercise experts have endorsed the Michael Jackson Maneuver as a great way to keep the body physically in shape and the mind emotionally at peace...a Zen quality of life.
"Beth and Raul were seeking a Zen lifestyle by doing the Michael Jackson Maneuver"

Sal Maneuver

The process in which you press down on your penile shaft after you get to the "half-chub" stage to increase blood flow and erectile activity into the penis. This method is strategic when you are feeling too tired to bone, suffering from old age, low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, or erectile tissue malfunctions due to overuse synthetic steroidal intake. Once you press down firmly enough, you will soon feel a rush of adrenaline from the Salwasser Gods and you may then proceed to thrash any and every vaginal tissue in sight. Please proceed with caution once attempting this maneuver

(CAUTION: DO NOT USE IF UNDER THE AGE OF 35, SERIOUS HYPER-ERECTILE INJURIES CAN OCCUR)
Wife: Honey, I just got home late and I am ready to straddle you like the good old days

Husband: babe, I'm really tired, and haven't even got near the quarter-chub stage in months

Wife: Remember the Sal maneuver?

Husband: That's it! Exactly what I needed!

*Husband feels young again and begins to thrash Wife*

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
