Lightie is British slang for mixed-race girl.

It's used as a term of endearment but is anti-poc by nature as it seeks to make mixed-race women (particularly those who have partial black lineage) seem 'better' than black women because of their appearance.

3) Latesha Grace
4) Erica Fontaine
5) Maya Jama
6) Any woman/girl on instagram with silky curly hair, biracial or multi-racial, sometimes has different colored eyes like green or blue, & fair skin complexion

Most grime emcees used to say that lighties were what we should desire and the ultimate woman was a lightie.

Lighties are stereotyped in good ways but sometimes are used as props for colorism.

They're praised for having non-black features while being a bit black-ish.

Most black athlete and entertainers have kids with or date lighties or have said they would like to: anyone from Stormzy has said they love lighties to Anthony Joshua who said he loved lighties. Most Black British men prefer lighties.
