Something that you are very proud of, but no other person is impressed by, often an accomplishment, story, or item. The definition stems from the movie, "The Christmas Story" where Ralphie's father is extremly proud of his major award ( a lamp in the shape of a woman's leg), but no one is impressed as he is.

Person 1: My dad tells everyone that he was in the audience for Letterman, he doesn't realize that people don't care.

Person 2: Yeah I noticed, it's his leg lamp in the window.

To neck/ make out with some one so rough and hardcore that you bend or brake the other person's nose.

"Becky needs a nose job now because dave lamped that shit in!"

"Did you see them two? They were practically lamping their noses in!"

Lizard Lamping

Also known as tanning Lizard Lamping is the act of putting yourself under fake sunlight and obtaining an orange like glow. Lizard Lamping can be quite expensive and addictive.

Jeremy: "You looks awfully orange today"
Alyssa: "Yea, I have been lizard lamping"

Jeremy: "Are you going out tonight?"
Caitlin: "No, I cant. I spent all my money on the lizard lamp"
