LaMoille is a small town of approximately 800 people in Bureau County Illinois. Barley anybody outside of LaMoille seems to know it exists. It is very quiet with a very low and almost non existant crime rate. This town is mostly characterized by the
Allen Junior High School which is a public
middle school that teaches grades 4th-8th. This school is a historical landmark as it was built long ago. Both the LaMoille high school and
middle school have around
90 students total on average each year. LaMoille also has one lone Fast Stop gas station on the northern edge of town. This location is where most of the towns farmers
will frequent during the morning hours as they chat with one another over their morning
coffee. Fast Stop is also where every kid with pocket
money walks to or rides to on their bikes after they get off school so they can spend their allowance on
candy and drinks. Not much is available for entertainment purposes in LaMiolle. Most of the residents look to the surrounding towns for entertaining activities. LaMoille does however, have an annual festival mostly during July called Buffalo Days. There's honestly nothing great about Buffalo days as it only caters to small children and those old enough to drink. Despite the dull festival the vast majority of LaMoille residents are all good people with a few exceptions here and there just like any other town.
