Kangkong adobo is, oddly, a vegetable dish. Adobo is almost exclusively a meat dish but there are exceptions like this one . You see it anywhere in tropical Asia but not in the USA.

Boy: “I’ll have Kangkong Adobo.”
Baby: “You won’t have it the normal way, Adobo ng Aso?”*
