"You can shut up now." Used mockingly in reference to people who, using stupid-looking internet shorthand, will say "k thx bye" ("okay, thanks, bye") when making a request on a message board or chatroom.

Used to define a loss of a battle, game, or argument. Could be seen as an insult, as gg represents good game, no re represents no remake or redo, and k thx is alright, thanks. Most likely done to repress any counterattack from the opponent.
