The Jedi
The Jedi (/ˈdʒɛdaɪ/) are the main protagonists in the Star Wars universe, alongside the Rebel Alliance. The Jedi Order is depicted as an ancient monastic, academic, meritocratic, and quasi-militaristic organization whose origin dates back approximately 25,000 years before the events of A New Hope.
Jedi were powerful Force-wielders and adjudicators tasked by the Galactic Republic to be the guardians of peace and order in the galaxy; they defend and protect all sapient life, never attack. The Order consisted of polymaths: teachers, philosophers, scientists, engineers, physicians, diplomats, negotiators, warriors, and peacekeepers. A level of diversity extends throughout the organization, composed of hundreds of different species and thousands of different worlds, some outside the Republic itself. A Jedi’s traditional weapon is the lightsaber.

Briefly, describes a Hiace driving species, adorned with a perfect mullet. Their missing teeth are in finest form, well apportioned with the uniform flannie (flanel). Jedi level bogans have perfected the decibels of AC/DC playing from their trailer and have the unique ability to levitate tinnies (cans of beer) into perfect skulling (chugging) position with a simple wave of the hand.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
