The Mortal Instruments

An absolutely awesome series written by Cassandra Clare. It has everything! (demon fighting, canon slash, technical incest, faeries, werewolves, geeky references, etc.) The Fandom is one of the most perverted ones. We have great fanart. And a duck!
Person A:Have you read City of Bones yet?
Person B: No, I've never heard of it!
Person A: It's the first book in the Mortal Instruments series. I think you would like it!

The Mortal Instruments

A series of fantasy books written by Cassandra Clare.

The books are about a species called Shadowhunters who can't be seen by ordinary mundanes (humans) and destroy demons and rogue Downworlders. Downworlders are werewolves, vampires, faeries, warlocks, etc.

The main characters are Clary Fray, Jace Wayland and Simon Lewis.
Person 1: Have you got the new The Mortal Instruments book?
Person 2: Yeah, it's awesome!

Human Instrumentality

1. The process which occurs when Humanity reaches it's evolutionary peak, and evolves back into a primordial ooze, starting the evolutionary process all over again.

2. An evolutionary Theory in which the entire world is the product of the imagination of a boy who does not realize what he really is.

3. The end of the world.

4. To reduce humanity and civilization to a single hive mentality, by stripping them of their individualities and combining all hearts, souls and minds into one coherent existence.
The instigation of Human Instrumentality would bring about peace and harmony, but it would make us lose everything that makes us unique. But we would all agree and be happy.

instrumetal

Basically what it sounds like; either a band or song which is both metal and without lyrics, making it instrumental. Phrase was coined by KTRM DJs in fall 2007
Ok we're 15 minutes into this Bloody Screaming Puss Goblins song and it's still just thrash guitar. I'm pretty sure it's instrumetal.

"Is it taking the trash guy a long time to empty the dumpster this morning? Jeebus."
"Oh, no that's just Keith next door listening to instrumetal again"

orion (instrumental)

A Metallica song off of their 1986 album "Master of Puppets." It is the greatest song ever written, and proves that Metallica wrote the best riffs ever.
"What's the greatest song ever written?"
