Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen’s 2012 karting incident was a historic moment as it laid the foundation of one of F1’s biggest rivalries.
Following the collision, Verstappen blamed Leclerc entirely for it as he said then,
“No, he is just unfair. I am leading. He wants to pass and he pushes me. And I push him back and after that, he pushes me off the track. It is not fair”

Indochine
Pronounced ahn-doe-sheen.
A French band, been going since 1981. Original members were Nicola Sirkis, Stéphane Sirkis, Dimitri Bodianski and Dominique Nicolas (If I remember correctly). Nicola is the sole remaining original member. The line up is now Nicola Sirkis, Boris Jardel, Olivier Gérard, Marc Eliard and François Soulier. On their latest album, Alice Et June, Indochine collaborated with AqME, Wampas, Scala And Kolacny Bros and Brian Molko.
It's a real shame that they're widely unknown in non-French speaking countries. Language shouldn't be a barrier when it comes to good music *sad shake of head*

inkchild
n. plural inkchildren
another stereotype (punk goth prep emo nerd etc. etc.)
an inkchild is a kid who's a cross between a nerd, hippie, and another stereotype (unless they don't have one usually applied to them.)
inkchildren are usually the politically active ones that people either like or hate. they're opinionated and tend to dress distinctly, read a lot, listen to a variety of music, hang with other inkchildren, and get distinct grades (either very bad grades because they don't conform or very good grades because they're very intelligent.)
non inkchildren look at them like they're very weird, but other inkchildren understand them perfectly. a lot of inkchildren like not well known movies (example: "the lives of others" or "pan's labyrinth") and most inkchildren don't listen to rap or like rapper type stuff.

i consider myself an inkchild. i am straight edge, libertarian, dress goth/punk, listen to what i like, do badly in math and pretty well in writing, and i read a lot. but i'm not quite a nerd, not quite a goth (if i were to take a normal stereotype that would be it, though), and i hang out with other inkchildren.

(HISTORY-VIETNAM, LAOS, CAMBODIA, USA) War between Communist forces native to the region and anti-Communists from several countries. Waged 1955 to 1975; ended in complete Communist victory. Probably 2.5 to 3.5 million people were killed, mostly in Vietnam, but also in Cambodia (1968-1975) and Laos (1953-1965).
US forces sent to prop up totally artificial "republic" in the south of Vietnam; helped Ngo Dinh Diem fake elections and suppress the population until he tried to cram Catholicism down throats of the Buddhist majority. Killed during coup d'etat 3 weeks before Kennedy assassinated. Military junta ran South Vietnam until it was defeated by the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN). The US military referred to the PAVN as the North Vietnamese Army (NVA), and resistence in South Vietnam itself as "Viet Cong."
In Cambodia, war crept across the border as a result of Ho Chi Minh Trail; ruler, Norodim Sihanouk, tried to contain it through negotiation but in 1970 overthrown by a CIA coup; military junta totally useless and Khmer Communist Party formed an alliance with supporters of the monarchy (GRUNK). Named "Khmer Rouge" by Sihanouk before 1970.
In Laos, pitted Pathet Lao (Communist) against Royal Lao Army. RLA extremely poor, and Western assistance was much less than that of Communist Vietnam. Heavy US bombing there & in Cambodia.

After the war, a third conflict erupted between Cambodia and Vietnam; the rulers of Cambodia, the Khmer Rouge, murdered an unknown but enormous number of their own people, then were crushed when they went to war with Vietnam.

Blexas
Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.
Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.

Ratfucker
Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
