popnoxious

adjective; describes a song or artist of the pop genre. A song that is catchy and overplayed, or an artist whose music is this way.
This type of music get's extremely annoying, extremely fast.
Usually played by popular pop radio stations, and can be found on the iTunes Top 100.

Person 1: "Dude, this station plays so much Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. It's getting annoying."

Person 2: "Right? It's totally popnoxious."

A person that is considered attractive but by being extremely annoying alters this attractiveness into physical unattractiveness.

The term was coined first by Randall Wanamaker (@ranwanimator) in response to a tweet by Ramit Sethi (@ramit), asking for a name for the phenomenon.
