Headroom

A Tech-term usually used in the music-business to describe the MAX level a sound system can go to before distortion occurs:

More commonly known as "CLIPPING" ......i.e.
A squaring-off("clipped")waveform that occurs when the power output of an amplifier cannot meet the power requirement of the speaker system it is driving: Clipping can be very harmful to high-frequency speakers (tweeters).

Opposite of headbutting, it is when one headbutts a rapist in the crotch. Especially when wearing a "Bump It".

HeadBOT

Inexplicably popular 2012/13 hairstyling choice where all of the hair is shanghaied and rattlily imprisoned in an ungainly and often terrifyingly large bun, which bobbles in a poorly anchored area directly on the top of the head. (Thus the acronym B.O.T. = Bun On Top.) HeadBOTs tend to look as though the wearer has sprung an extra unfortunate appendage and have been known to traumatize the unsuspecting observer... especially small children. HeadBOTs are notably popular in Frankfurt. Reasons for this popularity are yet unknown.

Variation: WannaBOT: Meager Buns On Top worn by those who don't have quite enough hair to fulfill a HeadBOT's fearsome requirements.

A pseudo computer generated parody of the embodiment of 1980s late night talk show hosts, and metaphor of a talking head.

Plastic-like appearance and usually stands in front of a backdrop of moving horizontal lines.

Was essentially the original troll, had a stuttering speech pattern and shilled for ‘New Coke’.

Person 1: I saw that one plastic looking guy on TV again.

Person 2: Oh that talking head? I love M-m-m-m-Max Headroom!
