A variation on 'grom' or 'grommet.' A nickname for a young, talented, action sports athlete. Grommie usually applies only to riders under age 15 years. Most often used in skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing, but is quickly gaining popularity in motocross, wakeboarding, and freestyle bmx.

She was a talented young woman, mostly known for her work on The Voice. She was unfortunately shot and killed by a deranged fan at a Meet and Greet after her concert. This happened in Orlando, Florida on June 10th, 2016.
