Strangely, this word originates from "comare," which is a word for the godmother of one's child. Alternatively, the godfather of one's child is a "compare."

These words are also used to describe a very close friend who isn't necessarily the godmother of your children.

giomar is the most beautiful, sweet boy. he is so patient and understanding. he will make you laugh until your cheeks hurt, then you’ll continue laughing by the sound of his laugh. he is the most peaceful sleeper and won’t wake up to any noise or touch. he gets silent when he's upset, but when he’s talking, he TALKS. it is, however, the most amazing thing to listen to. giomar is the type of person who will listen to you when you need someone to listen and he always finds the best way to comfort you even if he thinks what he’s saying is dumb. his smile is contagious enough to make you smile, stop smiling, think about his smile, then make you smile again. giomar is the weirdest person you’ll ever meet, but he will bring out the weird in you and you’ll realize you love weird. he will give you a whole different perspective on life and you’ll see how beautiful life actually is. giomar will come into your life at the most perfect time and will make everything so much better. he’ll be your escape from reality but also knock you into reality when needed. everyone needs a giomar in their life.
