Generation W consists of kids born in the 1960s (during the Vietnam War) to "Silent Generation" parents. Gen W preceded Gen X (post -Vietnam kids born to Boomers) but followed the Boomers.

I was born in 1968, so I'm Gen W. I was a teen in the 80s, not the 90s.
