Someone or something that is whack or busted.
It can refer to someone who is not well put together, dressed like a scrub, or someone who is just fugly.
Term derived from the dishevelled, unkempt, tattered ends of a rope.
Damn, bro I just saw Steve macking with that frayed ass girl over there, he must have his beer goggles on.

Frayed Knot

A frayed knot (aka Afraid Not) is a poor excuse given when someone isn't going out with a group of friends. Usually it means to try harder to persuade someone.

Symbolic of the once tight bonds of a relationship that are now wearing thin. A little extra pressure will break the bonds.
When Scott is asked to meet with some old friends, he responds sheepishly saying "Frayed knot, I'm spending the evening with my wife"

The Frayed Ends Of Sanity

My favorite Metallica song of all time and a very underrated song off of Metallica's 4th album ...And Justice For All (1988) which has so far never been performed live in its entirely. A tale of one's deterioration of there mental state, where fantasy and reality is blurred.
Old Habits reappear, fighting the fear of fear, growing conspiracy, myself is after me!The Frayed Ends of Sanity hear them calling, The Frayed Ends of Sanity hear them calling me! Ahaahaa

Torn and frayed

upset, stressed,or at the end of one's patience; from the Rolling Stones song of the same name.
That chick has got me torn and frayed

Ancient King (Shah) of Iran (Persia). Saviour of Iran from Zahak (The evil ruler). Also spelled Freedon, Fraydon, Freedoun….
Shah Fraydon with the help of Ahangar raised the flag of freedom (i.e. Drafash-e-Kavaini). Prominent Iranians also have this for their first name e.g. Freedoun Jam (General), Fraydon Aryan (Historian), Freydon Farougzad (Singer), Feraydoun Moshiri (Poet), Fraydon Foroghi (Muscian) etc.
