The point at which the number of tabs open in your browser results in the small tab icon (favicon) disappearing.
As in: 'hitting the favicon wall'
The result being that you are no longer able to identify which tab is which, and must therefore either go though them one by one, or start closing tabs in order to (once again) see each tab's favicon, so that you can easily identify the content of each tab.
