A modern-day third-party gaming system that plays old-school game cartridges like those from the NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis. Some examples include the Retro Duo, the FC Twin Video Game System, and the 2 in 1 video game system for Sega Genesis and NES (Hyperkin).

I can't afford both an NES and a SNES, so I'll just get myself a famiclone for half the price.

The NES in Japan. Is a different look from the American Nintendo, but plays just the same.

Luigi and Mario were playing famicon, and they magically got sucked inside the Nintendo.
