Polling the electorate

To have sex, usually with a stripper.

From season 8, episode 3 of The Simpsons "Separate Vocations" the euphemism is used in regards to Mayor Quimby having sex with a mistress in a motel room.

Later used in season 3, episode 1 of Supernatural "The Magnificent Seven" in reference to Dean Winchester having sex with a stripper or strippers. It does not mean to suck dick, Destiel shippers.
That's mayor Quimby's car. Tonight, his honor is, heh, polling the electorate.

battered electorate syndrome

A population of voting citizens of a country, state, etc. who consistently vote for candidates whose goals are counter to their own economic, social, health, and educational needs. They can see that these candidates abuse them, but they rationalize it away, blame others for their predicament, & remain crawling loyal to them none the less.
For example, a battered electorate syndrome is exhibited by American white blue collar workers who vote for GOP candidates, completely violating their own economic interests. Even worse, after the GOP candidates woo them through the election, the minute the election is over the GOP is back in bed with the mega-wealthy making promises & coming through on them. The GOP knows they can sweet-talk their electorate into accepting that they must sleep with these billionaires to bring the gifts of trickle down economics to their electorate. Meanwhile the billionnaires are importing their new yachts & firing more employees in their most recent company efficiency overhaul, and of course sending more jobs overseas.

Polling the electorate

When Bobby asked Sam where Dean was, Sam responded by saying "He's Polling the electorate"

pole-ing the electorate

When a man in elected office engages in sexual congress with a member of his community.

To fuck some bitch you have power over in her ass.
From the Simpsons: "Tonight, the mayor's pleasure is pole-ing the electorate."

"Damn bitch, I guess I wouldn't be much of a senator if I didn't pole my electorate once in a while. Suck that cock!"

shock and awe electoral bombing

A slickly composed mass mailing method used in state and local elections assailing a grassroots candidate with hyperbolic lies funded by corporate “dark money.”
I can’t wait for the shock and awe electoral bombing to begin right before the next election!

electoral college

An idea put in place to prevent one city, region, or demography from deciding who the next president is. The main goal is to force a presidential candidate to have to win over voters all across the country. Although it doesnt always work, it often times prevents what happens in New York state, from happening on a larger scale. Even though New York state is relatively half and half on the political spectrum, every election New York state ends up being won for the democrats because New York City is about 70% liberal and contains about half of the state's population.
Without the Electoral college, what happens almost every election in New York state could happen to the whole country, where the interests of one region determine the effects on the whole country

electoral college

The system of voting the got George W. Bush into the White House in 2000.
