desat
To lose oxygen as from not breathing. Desat is short for desaturate. Oxygen gets less and less and if oxygenation isn't restored either by the patient, CPR, or a ventilator, the patient will die. Desat is commonly used in the hospital when talking about a patient who's oxygen saturations are going down as seen on a pulse oximeter and/or arterial blood gas.
I can't breathe. I need oxygen or I will desat. All right. Let's get some oxygen going in by Non-rebreather at 90%

French slang, which translated, means "bull's fashion" but basically equates to "hyper trendy" or overly trendy. Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. This term is most frequently heard in Paris but is slowly spreading to other parts of France.
