The term 'downvalley' is used by people in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado, notable cities are Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, and of course, Aspen. Aspen sits at the upper part of the Roaring Fork Valley and is often referred to as 'upvalley'.
