(Dis-ey-mawr-iz-uhm) Derived from Greek and Latin root words, of 'Dis' (opposite, not), 'amor' (love), and 'ism' (belief). It is simply a belief in that Love does not exist. Usually adopted by teens who have been through much hardship with ex's.
