(n) - An unstable combination of women that increases ambient bitchiness. This can occur when the natural vibrating frequencies emitted from one woman's vagina interfere with those of another, causing an unappealing positive feedback (aka vagitation) that attenuates the mood of all women contributing to the dissonance. The intensity of vaginal dissonance is directly proportional to 1) the average distance between each vagina, and 2) the average amplitude of emitted vaginal frequencies, which can vary dramatically between women. cheek disconnect 

The disconnection of a telephone conversation caused by ones cheek inadvertantly pressing on the disconnect button. This is more likely to occur with touchscreen mobile phones.

I was in the middle of an important discussion when I experienced a cheek disconnect. This occurred when my cheek hit the disconnect button on my mobile phone ending my telephone call and my train of thought. Cheek disconnect can also lead to a unigab situation. (see; unigab)

dickson 

A person that no one can stand. Constantly attempts to make them self look intelligent with made-up facts or figures. Always cuts you off in mid-sentence and corrects you with mis-information. Also tells stories that are improbable or impossible, and are most likely fabricated.

History: the origin of using the word "dickson" is unknown, but in the Mid-Michigan area it's a widespread term for someone you hate, or acts in the manner described above. Typically, when people visit this area of the U.S. they are confused when they begin to hear the term, but once it's understood, they always know someone from their home town that is a "dickson"

I can't stand having to work along side of Jay, he's such a DICKSON!

What happens when the narrative (story) of a game conflicts with the mechanics (stuff the player does.)

"The cutscene says my character is sensitive and kind... but I just blew off 6 innocent people's heads for the lulz and the game was totally cool with that. There's some serious ludonarrative dissonance going on here."
