Words you can keep
A long drawn out sentence that says nothing, ultimately. Pretty much just talking bollocks when you're not clear on what you're saying, but trying to make it sound like you do.
"... has tremendous strength in depth."
"In comparison blah blah blah." Without comparing it to anything at all.
Another Daveism is to finishing a list that was never started. OR change tense mid-sentence.
Using more subclauses than Santa's football team.

A Daveism is the term that refers to a vocabulary mistake said by someone called Dave.

It happens quite often, especially when Dave is tired, drunk or excited.
Manda: "Quiz question one: name the title of Harper Lee's novel".

Dave: "Erm, erm, How to Kill a Mockingbird?"

Manda: "...it's just To Kill a Mockingbird. You've done a Daveism".

The teleological theory around the universe that we are all Dave and Dave is all. Dave is the sole being in the universe however he encompases all life itself. It is a monotheistic religion that practices circle jerks 4 times daily to maintain sexual unity.
"Not funny is it tho" "Get yourself in order Dave and realise the importance of Daveism"

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
