A group of people purchase a beef animal in league, have it killed and butchered, then divided among the group.

My folks, Dave, and I decided to cowpool a side of beef from Sylvia, but my boss didn't want the 20 pounds of steaming liver!

cowpoke 

1. (noun) A lazy cowboy who neglects their duties on a farm or ranch.

2. (noun) A rural person in an urban environment, such as an office, who's mannersisms are notably different, less competitive, and often performed at a slower pace than the urbanites. The term may be used in either an endearing or insulting way.

3. (verb) The act of pressing one's finger against a domesticated bovine for the purpose of testing the quality of meat or just for fun. Usually the index finger is used.

4. (noun)(slang) A male person with a tendency to have sex with only overweight females.

cowpop 

Country music that is not traditional and has much in common with pop music.

Usually used to describe the crop of artists popular after the 20th century rather than earlier. Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are examples of the genre.

Guy: "Who's the hottest cowpop singer?" Older guy: "I'm not into that cow poop crap. I like real country & western, cowpunk included!"
