The use of an idiom (a group of words that are not meant to be taken literally) to describe Covid-19.

Some examples of a covidiom: My neighbor 'stabbed me in the back' and stole my toilet paper.

All of this social distancing is 'hard on the heart.'

Trump amd Pelosi 'are not on the same page.'

I quit the gym 'cold turkey.'

No 'monkey buisness' in person right now...keep it online!

Tiger King and I are 'thick as thieves.'

Her personality is nothing but covidious---she enters the room and her negativity is like a toxic cloud that drags everyone down.

Covidiot

People that have no brain cells and can’t understand what social distancing means. People that make others life miserable in lockdown by continually mixing with others, therefore making the lockdown last longer because it fails .

Look at those covidiots over there all sat together thinking that they won’t spread the virus, then go clap for the NHS.
