DVR catch-up

'DVD catch-up' is when, while recording a game or other TV event on your DVR, you start watching the recording from the beginning - and as you come to the ads, timeouts, etc., you fast-forward through them, thus slowly catching-up on the event in real time.

Uncle Tony is so good at DVR catch-up, he usually syncs up with real-time just after the final ad.

catch-up sex

Sexual intercourse engaged in to make up for having missed opportunities for sex. The missed sex could be due to your partner traveling, or being too busy, or having a fight. This is different than make-up sex. With make-up sex there is one sex act which accomplishes the goal. With catch-up sex you have to compensate for all the sex you missed having.

Wife: That was really good sex.
Husband: Yes, but we'll need to do it again in 2 hours.
Wife: Why on earth?
Husband. We were mad at each other for a week. We would have had sex 5 times in that week. We have four more to go.
Wife: Oh yeah, catch-up sex.

Joe: Hey want to go to the driving range tomorrow?
John: No, I can't. I have to stay home with my wife all weekend.
Joe: Honey-do list?
John: Sort of. I was out of town for two weeks straight, tomorrow is dedicated to catch-up sex. I have to honey-do her a lot.

AiDA Catch Up

When a group of pupils gather after school to complete oustanding GCSE coursework but this is usually unsuccessful and the pupils end up cyberbullying each other or searching innappropiate images and adding it on each other's social networking profiles. Generally, the pupils enjoy these sessions until they recieve their final mark and realise that they have failed AiDA.

1st Person: "You got AiDA Catch Up today, Lily?"
2nd Person:"Yeah, want to go together Carlotta?"
1st Person: "Yeah, sounds cool. Apparently Andria, Sylvia and Susannah are coming too!"

Two hours later...

1st Person: "LOL LOOK AT SUSANNAH'S FACBOOK PICTURE."
2nd Person:"LOL I'VE JUST BEEN FRAPED"
3rd Person: "LOL I'M FAILING AIDA AT THIS RATE"
4th Person"LOL"
