columbus'd

To be the first one to find something out in your group of friend
Yo dawg, Josh keeps talking about this new indie band he knows that has "only few million views". He thinks that he columbus'd it even though we invited him to their concert awhile back and he said no.

Reverse Columbo’d

When attempting to leave a location or conversation and someone keeps pulling you back with “ just one more thing”.

Similar to Detective Columbo leaving a suspect, and turning around to say his famous line, but the reverse of that.
Simon: I got reverse columbo’d by my boss today.

Billy: I hate when that happens, you wanna leave but it’s always just one more thing!

Columbus Day

The day that Columbus set foot in America.
If you think he didn't, you're a moron. Yes. he wasn't the first European to set foot in America, that was Leif Erikson. However, Leif didn't make monumental colonies spreading across the continent. This makes Columbus the third person not from America to step there -- first was Leif Erikson, then Mansa Musa's predecessor, then Columbus.

And no, this day doesn't celebrate the deaths of native Americans...
History fanatic, learn history.
Happy Columbus day, mate!
Happy Columbus day!

Christopher Columbus Disorder

Christopher Columbus Disorder (CCD) is a mental disorder in which the afflicted believe they have discovered something new, when in fact, indigenous peoples have known about the "discovery" (i.e., object, phenomenon, area, species, etc.) for time immemorial.
Speaker 1: Hey, did you hear Dr. Pumpkinstein discovered a new mammal species in Central America?
Speaker 2: Central America, you say? Haven't there been indigenous people living there for thousands of years with traditional stories about that same mammal passed down for generations?
Speaker 1: Well ya, but if they knew about it, they never published a paper on it.

Speaker 2: Sounds like Dr. Pumpkinstein has a case of CCD.
Speaker 1: CCD?
Speaker 2: Ya, CCD... Christopher Columbus Disorder. Because Columbus didn't discover sh*t!

columbus day

A holiday celebrated by Italians in all major US cities. In Denver, white liberals whine and fuss, claiming the celebration is racist and genocidal.

Very strangely, in San Francisco, the white liberals don't dare to interfere with the Italians.
Let's go march in the Columbus Day parade and offend a legion of white liberals!

Columbus Dick

"Columbus Dick" is used to define a penis over 8 inches, named after the endowment of the average male from the city of Columbus, Ohio, following a 2017 study that listed 82% of men in Columbus as having a penis size of 8 1/2+ inches.
When a girl ask if a guy has a big dick, he replies, "Baby, I got that Columbus dick, stop playing with me."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.

green inexperienced youthful judgement and cold blooded execution of those judgements.

Rashness with little concern of consequence.

When I was green in judgment, cold in blood."
