Boardgame Blueballs 

Knowing you're about to win a board game and you're opponent quits before the game is over, thus depriving you of the satisfaction of a game well won.

Rudy never should have told his wife she was about to win the game. She quit and now he has boardgame blueballs because he couldn't celebrate.

The middle aged folks that just need a little break from their very important office jobs.

I joined this gaming group for D&D and Catan, but it's just a bunch of boardgame hipsters so nothing but Scattergories and Uno!

Bed n' Boardgames

A new and improved version of a LAN-party. Generally a less competitive environment with a higher focus on social activities such as board-games, DnD one-shots and Nintendo party games. Usually there is a LAN set up in case you want a more classic LAN experience, participants can do as they please.

Beds are not included, but you are welcome to sleep over at the locale, wherever the event is hosted.

To spice it up a tad, the event organizers may set up small competitions throughout the scheduled event. Aka, you might win a medal or two if you choose to participate, but no pressure to actually compete. To add an element of randomness, a themed mystery competition is a great way to include those who are not comfortable in competitive gaming environments.

"Hey dude, are you planning on going to the Bed n' Boardgames event next weekend? I really want to gather a group to test out the new Slay the Spire boardgame"
