bloodmeat

Esoteric term for an erection or boner. Refers to the rush of blood to the genital organs during sexual arousal. Originated from the song of the same name by Protest The Hero; also from the song "The Dissentience".

1. Jerry refused to do the math problem on the board in front of the entire class because he had raging bloodmeat in his pants.

2. "The scene hits the moon with a rise from the shelves, alive on the myths of ordinary people past: somebody's little girl dreaming of the things she reads, or the monsters in her bed who hacked her into bloodmeat."

Bloodfeather 

A new feather on a bird in it's new-quill phase. If broken, the bird will likely bleed out and die.

Referenced in Highly Suspect's - "Bloodfeather", a person being your "bloodfeather" means that they're invaluable to you, and if something where to happen to them, it would be your pain and even your demise.

That girl's my bloodfeather, I couldn't think about life without her.

Bloodbath 

1. Typically refers to a situation in which many people are killed in a violent and extreme manner.

2. Also refers to a situation that does not involve extreme violence but involves the absolute dominance by one thing over another.

3. Death by bleeding within a bathtub.

4. In financial terms: refers to an investment resulting in massive and unexpected loss.

1. Not many people were killed in the Boston Massacre, but it was still a bloodbath.

2. Although the Broncos expected to be competitive in Super Bowl 48, the Seahawks quickly turned it into a bloodbath.

3. On July 13, 1793 Jean-Paul Marat slumped into his bathtub after being stabbed -- a literal and figurative bloodbath. The assailant claimed that she was preventing an even bigger bloodbath but was guillotined anyway.

4. I thought that putting my entire life savings into Lehman Brothers in 2007 would allow me to retire sooner than everyone else. Instead, it was a bloodbath.

Bloodmouth 

An insult or slur commonly used by vegans for people who eat meat, indicating their distaste for eating creatures that bleed.

Some omnivores consider this to be a compliment, finding the term funny or cool-sounding.

Padma: I understand the ethical ramifications of veganism, but it's not feasible for me right now, and anyway I like the taste of bacon.

Kane: I wish you weren't a bloodmouth. You're so enlightened otherwise.

Padma: Calling me that just makes me want bacon-wrapped baby-back ribs.

Bloodbath 

Death Metal supergroup containing members from Edge of Sanity, Opeth, Katatonia and Hypocrisy. They play old-school Swedish death metal, basically just a big nostalgia fest for guys who are now all in prog-death bands.

Disco Bloodbath 

A book written by James St. James (a Club Kid during the late eighties and early nineties) about the murder of his friend and Superstar Drug Dealer Angel Melendez. Angel was killed by the "it" boy of clubbing in the Club Kid era Michael Alig.

The movie Party Monster is based on this book.

Most of the book takes place in Michael's club, a place called Disco 2000. Most or all of the characters are hooked on Ecstasy or herion, and there are even some overdoses, like Superstar Christine, Michael and James' singing friend.

I highly recommend this book, but it's not for the faint of heart.

I went to the library to check out Disco Bloodbath.
