It is an acronym for Awkwardly Walking In Back, because EVERYONE hates AWIBing! Like when you're walking in a big group of people, and you get pushed to the back, and you're just kind of awkwardly following them.

Person 1: Guys, I'm AWIBing, slow down, it's embarasing.
Person 2: Sorry about that, come walk next to me.
