autonym

Derived from the prefix "auto-" (meaning "self") and the suffix "-nym" (meaning "name"), "autonym" refers to naming a character in your story after yourself as to speed up your story-making process. For example, if you're a 2004-born person named Adrian, then it would be a "no-brainer" idea to have a character in your story named Adrian "Ian" Appleton who is also a 2004-born person.
Using an autonym can really speed up your writing process; like if you’re a 2004-born named Adrian, why not create a character named Adrian 'Ian' Appleton who shares your birth year? It’s a no-brainer solution!
