Kamina Assumption

noun; an assumption that any situation or problem, even if it is logically insurmountable, can be resolved by sheer passion or force of will.

This phrase was inspired by the character Kamina from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, who has a tendency to conquer insurmountable obstacles by his fiery, manly passion; a force that is approximately equal to the red-hot plasma of a thousand suns molded into the shape of mustangs and panthers.

Kevin: Look, I know that we only have half a tank of gas and no cash, but it's my dream to finish this cross-country road trip and I know we'll do it somehow!

Me: Considering that we're still in Wyoming, I'd say you're making a dangerous Kamina Assumption.

Disingenuous Assertions

Disingenuous: lacking in frankness, candor, or sincerity; falsely or hypocritically

Assertion: positive statement or declaration, often without support or reason: a mere assertion; an unwarranted assertion.

put the two together and you have Disingenuous Assertions so I'll dumb it down for you people

Disingenuous Assertions: pretty much lying to make someone look good and something that so infuriating that it makes soldiers want to punch reporters

Vegans Assumption Fallacy

A vegan must never assume that something is vegan unless and until it's confirmed to be vegan.

A vegan realised that he/she consumed a non-vegan product by failing to check the ingredients label, therefore falling prey to "Vegans Assumption Fallacy".

He sat in the meadow just shaking his...fist at some boys who were down by the creek, there feet in the water their hands on their...marbles and play things, and at half past four, there came a young lady she looked like a...pretty young creature, she sat on the grass, she pulled up she dress, and showed them her...ruffles and laces, and white fluffy duck, she said she was learning a new way to...bring up her children, so they would not spit, while the boys in the barn yard were shoveling...refuse and litter from yesterdays hunt, while the girl in the meadow was rubbing her...eyes at the fellow, down by the dock, he looked like a man with a sizeable...home in the country, with a big fence out front, If he asked her politly she'd show him her...little pet dog who was subject to fit. and maybe she'd let him grab hold of her...small tender hands, with a movement so quick, and then she'd bend over and suck on his....candy, so tasty, made of butterscotch, and then he spread whipcream all over her...cookies, that she had left out on her shelf.
