arrowgance

What da over-confident Sheriff of Nottingham's dragoons possessed when they first tried pursuing Robin Hood and his Merry Men, not realizing what good riders and sharpshooters said bow-wielding horsemen actually were.
In one famous Dukes of Hazzard car-chase, Boss Hogg's evil henchmen guffawingly scoffed when they saw Bo and Luke using bows and arrows as weapons against the mercs' own seemingly-superior firearms, but their arrowgance was short-lived when one of the Duke Boys' dynamite-tipped arrows exploded their car's engine and thus ended their pursuit for the time being.
