When someone walks into an arguement thats been set to catch them off guard.

Getting home after an all night drinking binge with friends the individual was argue-ambushed by their mate who had been waiting up all night.

When you make a point that is almost a fact and cannot be argued with or about so even if you do argue about it, it's as good as arguing with the wall.

A phrase used mostly by Gen Z that basically means that what you just said was such an undeniable fact that if someone disagrees they are wasting their time and should go argue with their mother.

Azealia Banks is a horrible person and if you like her you’re awful too, argue with your mom.

An idiom meaning to stubbornly quibble over something inconsequential, irrelevant, minor or off-topic. A cavilling dispute.

Another way of saying "to argue for the sake of it".

Unfortunately the meeting didn't go well. Eric starting getting pedantic, and decided to argue the toss over a trivial detail of the plan.
