agave

Chiefly Mexican, agaves also occur in the southern and western United States and in central and tropical South America. The plants have a large rosette of thick fleshy leaves, each ending generally in a sharp point and with a spiny margin; the stout stem is usually short, the leaves apparently springing from the root. Along with plants from the related genus Yucca, various Agave species are popular ornamental plants. Agave sap is what is distilled into the liquors tequila and mescal.

There are 136 species of agave found in North America.

Noun.

The anniversary of an unleasing of feelings, thoughts, frustrations, etc. between two or more individuals that was specifically initiated after drinking tequila.

An agave-versary can be positive or negative.

An agave-versary original event was probably at least a little sloppy.

Today is the one year agave-versary of their big argument.

agave boon massage 

An agave boon massage is a particularly rare kind of massage that was created in Thailand in the 12th century for members of the Thai aristocracy. The message consists of three stages. The first is coating the subject in agave nectar completely, inserting reeds into their nose and mouth so that they do not suffocate. The second stage is a deep tissue rub down characterized by swift, chopping palm-strikes. Finally, the masseuse sets candles about the room and summons the ancestors, who grant a boon to the client of their choosing.

Agave Dick 

At the right Agave level, performance is optimum. Too many Agave's and performance slips, especially as a male ages.

At 59 I'm still playing the stiff shaft but I have to be careful to keep my level right or I’ll have Agave Dick and the Mrs won’t be happy.
