(noun) -- Those in the process of transitioning to adulthood. Can be identified by their use of social media to announce their latest adulting accomplishment. Ex. "Great job adulting today. I made my own appointment to see the dentist." (Adjective)-- to describe a person who is transitioning to adult independence.

Adultweens seek recognition for completing mundane tasks that show they are taking responsibility for themselves, such as doing laundry and seeing the dentist.

1: Adults that think & behave like children. 2: People that have adult (mature) bodies, but child-like (immature) mindsets. 3: A "childish-psyche" within a adult's physical body. Etc.

As of 2013, the USA is populated by many "Adultdren."
