The haircut is characterized by long hair on the top of the head which is parted either way, and having the sides and the back of the head buzzed extremely short. The hair on the top of the head is often held in place by some type of styling gel or wax. The haircut was especially popular among the various military and civilian organizations of the National Socialist Party.
