A word to describe the exaggeration or over the top nature of and action of situation.

e.g. 1 -

John: (bumps into Mark)

Mark: What the fuck John (pushes John into the wall)
David: (just observed this) Mark that was such a tidif you should probably apologise to John.

e.g. 2 -
Japan attacking Sydney Harbour in World War 2 was a bit of a tidif.

-extreme over-exaggeration; to describe something and go completely over the top; turning a mole hill into a mountain; telling stories with added information to make them sound more outrageous; total embellishment; an overstatement.
