A word used in the editing process that refers to when someone writes something with characters, such as a book, play or movie, where character names are repeated way too often and/or an unrealistic amount, inevitably ruining the immersion for the reader and value and flow of the writing.

The word is in reference to the movie Titanic, when Jack and Rose said each other's names way too many times. It also refers to the writing sinking like the ship did.
