Time's up

A reckoning. Face the music. You're going to get what you deserve
Time's up. The end's in sight and you better face the consequences of your deeds

Time's Square Celebration

A sexual act performed on New Year's Eve starting at one minute to midnight. During the "One Minute Countdown", one individual lies on his/her back, while a male partner slowly lowers his genitals onto his partner's face, finally dropping them at exactly midnight. Performed in the spirit of the New Year's Eve Time's Square celebration.
It's New Year's Eve, and tonight I'm going to give my girlfriend a "Time's Square Celebration".

third time's the charm

If you're trying to do something, and twice it didn't work, you say, "Third time's the charm". This is a hopeful saying -- "it will work the third time!"

I'm trying to get something organised with a group of people and last week I said "third time's the charm". But it's still not working. And we're at five times now. So I offer this for those of us that need something to say when it gets to four times or more:

First time’s the promise

Second time’s a shrug
Third time’s the charm
Fourth time’s a boon
Fifth time’s a broken heart
Sixth time is doom.
Ha, foiled again! But third time's the charm.

third time's a charm

Said by or to someone who has failed at something twice; used as a means for encouragement, expressing hope that things will work out on the third try.
Guy 1: Damn dude, I'm just trying to get phone numbers, but both of the girls I've hit on have thrown their drinks at me.
Guy 2: Well, third time's a charm, right? Now get back out there and leave me be.

Third time's a charm

When you are trying something (activity, task, function) and you are not successful during the first two attempts, you make this comment to assure people that you will get it right the third time you attempt it.
I know that I haven't fixed your car with the first two repair jobs I did on it, but 'the third time's a charm'.

Ghanaian Time Syndrome (G.T.S.)

Ghanaian time syndrome is a syndrome that makes most Ghanaians turn up to an event about 2-4 hours after it has started
1) Kofi: Hey I'm going to throw a party on Saturday night. 6pm prompt. Please be there.
Kwame: OK

Ama: I'll be there

(2 hours later)

Kofi: Where the hell is he, and everyone I invited?

Ama: Don't be suprised, this is a classic case of Ghanaian Time Syndrome (G.T.S.)

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
