World famous sweetie shop Tom Swans (known to the locals as Tam Swans.
Next to the river leven , also known for its salmon fishing.

Winnie's local pub, decor hasn't changed since it opened over 100 yrs ago. It's a step back in time

Also they won the first World cup, Championship was an exhibition football match that took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on 19 May 1888 between the winners of the Scottish Cup, Renton, and the English FA Cup, West Bromwich Albion. The match was won by Renton who beat Albion 4–1
Also no one ever refers Renton village as just Renton. Local people and people afar always call it The Renton.
I was born and bread in the Renton.
