The Garfield principle

Named after Andrew Garfield.
When a actor appears in a film/tvshow etc. making you aware of their existence, only to find out they have been in a large portion of your favourite movies or tv shows before and that you never having remembered them before now have no choice but to notice them.
Andrew Garfield appeared in The Social Network.
He also appeared in Sugar Rush, Doctor Who, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Therefore 'The Garfield principle' was born.

The Garfield effect

When you begin to look for Garfield, you begin to see him everywhere. For example: You see a Garfield plushie in a store or on a T-shirt someone is wearing. Garfield has bacome so mainstream over the last 40 years, that we have subconsiously erased his image from our life.
Person1: "Dude here he is again, Garfield!"
Person2: "You're just crazy, he isn't everywhere."
Person1: "I'm telling you, it's The Garfield effect."

The Garfield Effect

/ðə' gar'field ɪˈfɛkt/

The Garfield Effect refers to the phenomenon that occurs when people (those particularly in a strict either working or schooling schedule), believe that Monday is to be a dreadful or worst day of the week. When in actuality, that is not the case, and another day is actually a true least favorite.

DISCLAIMER: Nothing to do with lasagna.
"I'm always worried about Monday's when actually Tuesdays are my least favorite. Must be The Garfield Effect!"
