SuperBowl XLIII

The 43rd SuperBowl, with the most history made. A match between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals, resulting in a win by the Steelers with a score of 27-23.

The most history was made during this game.

The come back in which the Cardinals caught up 13 points beating the previous record of Ten.

James Harrison ran 100 yards across the football field to make a touchdown. The greatest amount of yards covered by a player.

The Steelers became the first ever franchise team to win the SuperBowl a total of six times.

The first time the Cardinals had ever been in the SuperBowl.

"No, why?"

"History was made."

Superbowl XLIV

The Superbowl where Peyton Manning fulfilled his childhood dream of one day throwing the game-winning pass for the Saints in the Superbowl.
Archie Manning, father for Peyton Manning, was a starting quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. Naturally, his talents impressed fans, but was never able to win a Lombardi Trophy.

Peyton Manning vowed to complete what his father had not.
On February 7, 2010, Peyton threw a pass to Tracy Porter who ran the ball in 74 yard for a touchdown with less that 3:20 to play. That gave the Saints a 14 point lead, enough to win Superbowl XLIV.

Super Bowl XLI

An extremely sloppy, boring, badly played, overhyped game between the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears. It was played on February 4th, 2007, in Miami, FL. The Colts won 29-17. Peyton Manning was the MVP of the game, even though he only threw for 276 yards and 1 touchdown with an interception.
"Did you see Super Bowl XLI last night?"
"I turned it off after there were about 6 turnovers in the first half."

Super Bowl XLI

Peyton Manning is the most overrated and overhyoed player...in the postseason.

Seriously, how did he get the MVP with these stats: 25/38 (65%, solid), 247 yards (average 6.5 yards a pass, bad), one touchdown (considering he's Peyton fucking Manning, you'd expect more, hell his brother had more touchdowns in his Super Bowl appearance, and Eli is terrible!), one interception, which equates into an 81.7. Normally, that's seen a just meh, but this is Peyton Manning we're talking about, so there's more weight.

Dominic Rhodes ran for 113 yards on 21 carries (5.3 yards a carry, on the Bears defense!) and touchdown, yet he didn't get the MVP?
Don't get me wrong, I was glad Peyton got his ring, since he deserved it. But his victory isn't as good as the media says.

Don't forget, he was playing against an incredibly overrated Bears team that was led by Rex Grossman. If you gave any team two weeks to prepare against that, they're going to crush them.

Overall rating for Super Bowl XLI: 3/10.

Pros:

-Peyton gets his ring
-Grossman gets raped

Cons:

-Peyton is one of, if not the, most undeserving MVP in Super Bowl history.
-Rain made the game sloppy.
-06-07 Bears are one of the worst teams to make the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl XLIII

Super bowl between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers won 27-23, with a touchdown pass to MVP Santonio Holmes with only 35 seconds left in the game.

The Steelers played the hardest schedule in the league and had many injuries, but over came most of these to get to the Super Bowl.

The Cardinals were a surprise and Kurt Warner despite being older than the pyramids was able to lead his team all year.

The game seemed all Pittsburgh until mid 4th quarter when Arizona got crazy and Larry Fitzgerald got a bunch of catches. But Large Benjamin Roethlisberger was able to put together a winning drive.

Super Bowl XLIX

Arguably one of the best Super Bowls to date, Super Bowl XLIX (49) pitted the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks against the AFC Champion New England Patriots, each playing for the right to become the sole champion of the 2014 NFL Season.

Pregame: Deflategate controversy, Bill Belichick's flip flops, "I'm Just Here so I Won't Get Fined." That's all you need to know.

Coin Toss: Seattle wins the toss. NE receives the ball first.

Qtr 1: Neither team scores. Tom Brady gets intercepted by Jeremy Lane.

Score: NE 0 | SEA 0

Qtr 2: NE: Brady touchdown pass to Brandon LaFell.

SEA: Run-in touchdown by Marshawn Lynch.

NE: Brady to Rob Gronkowski touchdown (and spike).

SEA: Touchdown pass from Russell Wilson to Chris Matthews.

Score: NE 14 | SEA 14

Halftime: Katy Perry sings & rides on things.

Qtr 3: SEA: Steven Hauschka field goal.

SEA: INT by Bobby Wagner leads to touchdown pass from Wilson to Doug Baldwin. Ten points now separate the two teams.

Score: NE 14 | SEA 24

Qtr 4: NE: Short touchdown reception from Brady to Danny Amendola.

NE: Julian Edelman catches Brady's pass for a touchdown.

Final Moments: SEA: Jermaine Kearse makes a deflected/bobbled catch at the 5-yard line.

NE: Rookie corner Malcolm Butler makes game-winning interception, creating one of the best (or worst, whichever way you look at it) game-ending plays in Super Bowl history. SEA coach Pete Carroll is later criticized for the call.

Final Score: NE 28 | SEA 24
Super Bowl XLIX is arguably one of the most exciting Super Bowls to date. On the contrary, most of its $4.5 million-dollar commercials weren't nearly as fun to watch.

Notes: Tom Brady won his fourth Super Bowl in 14 years, and his third Super Bowl MVP.

With this win, Brady is now tied with Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw for most Super Bowl wins by a quarterback.

Brady also holds the record for the most career touchdown passes in the Super Bowl, as well as most Super Bowl appearances.

Brady and Belichick further heightened their records for most career playoff wins.

The Patriots became the first team to win a Super Bowl after being down by 10 points in the fourth quarter.

As of 2015, this was the most-watched Super Bowl to date.
