Strame

A Strame (strame) is a word used to characterize a male with below average social skills, especially regarding girls. It's not only the social skills that are below average but also the way the male carries himself and his confidence or should I say lack of confidence. A Strame is often a simp, nerd, geek and/or a creep. Strames (plural) often have problems with females and some even with finding friends because of their strange behaviour around other people and in general. The noun may have arrived from the name of the famed Belgian singer Stromae but this is not a fact. The noun is commonly used in central and south Luxembourg, the noun is mostly used by teenage delinquents. Syn. weird guy.

Steamed Hams

The regionally appropriate term for "hamburgers" in Albany, New York.
Though phrased as "steamed", a steamed ham is typically grilled, and served on a platter often containing more than a quarter dozen of the aforementioned dish and various french fries.
Not to be confused with "steamed clams", a similarly phrased dish which can often be mistaken for steamed hams.

The term for the strategy of waiting until the foodservice employee puts the first portion of meat on your sandwich/burrito/whatever to ask for double meat. That way, the size of the first portion isn't compromised by the knowledge that a second portion is coming, and sets a precedent portion size for the second portion, avoiding any size discrepancy between first and second portions. Particularly effective at Chipotle.

Employee - "What kind of meat, sir?"
Fat Guy - "Chicken, my man."
