sharebait

Any post on a social networking site (typically a puzzle, optical illusion, political question, inspirational story, etc.), that asks for the user to share it with friends on the site, with the supposed objective of getting as much exposure or attention as possible. Similar to the "you will die if you do not repost this comment x number of times" posts also seen frequently on social networks.

"Peggy, stop sharing every piece of sob-story sharebait you see on Facebook. It's fake and it's been circulating for years."

salebrity

The term used to describe a discount "celebrity" who is easily accessible and routinely willing to demean themselves for a nominal fee.

It is an accepted misnomer within the television industry that the casts of shows beginning with the term "Celebrity" are in fact primarily comprised of salebrities (as producers know that “Salebrity Rehab”, while accurate, would undoubtedly taint the high standard of quality and respectability viewers have come to expect).

When you're in a public bathroom and you and the person next to you both have to poop but both people refuse to make the first fart and initiate the pooping.

I had to miss class today because the poop stalemate I was in lasted 20 minutes.

Facebook Stalemate

A situation whereby two people know each other quite well, but not well enough to feel comfortable to "add as friend" on Facebook.

Both are unwilling to request the friendship in fear of being rejected or being thought of as weird. However, both would happily accept the other's request.

Therefore both remain on the other's suggestion feed on the homepage, until one of them plucks up the courage to request.

Guy (sat at home on computer) : "I can't add her, I've only spoken to her twice!"

Girl (on iphone) : "Should I add him? Or will he think I'm a desperate hoe?"

Guy : "shit its a facebook stalemate"

When you stall stall for anther person, but they are also stall stalling, resulting in you both just sitting there forever.

I tried to stall stall today but the guy was stall stalling me! It was a stall stalemate.
