Sossina
A smart, beautiful, emotionally intelligent young woman. On the outside, she is incredible looking: seemingly perfect in every way. Cute and sexy at the same time, both to the highest order. If you are lucky enough to lay eyes on her, you’ll never want to take them off. But you probably will, as the nervous excitement is too much to bear. So much outer beauty is, in a way, almost cruel in its intensity. But somehow she manages to soften this cruelty with a delicate inner beauty. Highly introspective and empathic, she pays close attention to how she makes others feel. This results in her being extremely well liked, exuding an undeniable positive energy. But at the same time, she is somewhat shy and reserved. The deep connections she makes are extremely valuable to her, but even more valuable to those she connects with. Because when she cares deeply about you, you feel it constantly, and it provides you with a sense of warmth that is incomparable to anything else you’ve ever felt. You’ll never want it to stop, and if it’s up to you, it never will.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
