Snowmaggedon

When a huge winter blizzard surpasses a previous large winter storm (see snowpocalypse) and dumps copious amounts of snow in a place unprepared for such large snowfall amounts thus grinding entire transportation, retail, school and government systems to nearly a complete halt for several days. Results in extreme cabin fever leading to massive snowball fights and excessive photography.

I've been trapped in my neighborhood for five days now without mail, phone or electricity because of the Snowmaggedon !!!

Snowmageddon

A snow (not defined by how many inches that fall) that affects a location not necessarily capable of dealing with snow, thus causing chaos (i.e. traffic jams, school closings, etc.)

The city of Atlanta rarely gets snow but this snowmageddon is really creating issues there.

Snowmageddon

The word given by President Barrack Obama after the major historic snowstorm has dropped 30+ inches of snow on the Washington/DC Metro area. Several East coasties have named it Snowpocalypse or some ditsy girls from local DC sororities have said SnOMG. While this is evidently a funny response, I have to say when someone says its snowing; I say no shit sherlock

Snowmageddon Syndrome

The diagnosis of boredom and insanity due to the large amount of snow. This occurs when there happens to be so much snow that you are not able to go anywhere nor see anyone.

Person 1: Hey have you talked to Tom lately?
Person 2: No, I've heard he has snowmageddon syndrome, he sits on his couch watching cat videos on his computer all day.
Person 1: How sad.
