A shared delusion, typically by followers of a leader who has deluded ideas they fully accepted as their own.

The podcast had no listeners and was a rambling boring mess with occasional vulgarities, but the shallusion continued because they didn't want to believe they had to work on their careers.

1. Noun: A false fact appearing certain to be true as a result of senility or aging. senilitysenilesenipartedaging

A senillusion made me sure it was an article in USA Today but, after countless searches there, it turned out to be in the Wall Street Journal instead.

Thinking you smell something when it could be something else or nothing at all.

I said "it smells like freshly baked bread"
Mary commented "I think you are just hungry"
I replied "Are you saying I am having a smellusion?"

Bob, did you fart again?!

The state of befuddlement brought on by multiple and ever changing snow forecasts for a particular period of time leading to widespread panic and over purchasing of cheese.

Fresh from the weather desk: "There will be three feet of snow...no, wait....we meant three inches.....hang on....this just in....it's sunny and 70 degrees.....with a possibility of snow showers.....sorry for the snofusion....good news is we still get paid!"
